Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree!

Tonight I'm going to put up my family's christmas tree. We've had it for years (its plastic) and just unfold it to put it up. We have a box of decorations which decorate the rooms nearby and the tree. Usually I'm the one asking when we can put it up but this year my mum was the one asking when I would be putting it up. Mum wants to take a photo of it for a mini book for the 25 days of December. I'm creating one as well. It makes you look at the days differently as you are thinking of what you can journal or take a photo of for that day! I think it adds to the Christmas Season expectation and makes it that much more enjoyable.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

The count down is on just 36 days til Christmas!
Been feeling a little melancholy and thought maybe I'll watch some christmas movies tonight. Or maybe I should just watch a comedy. Never watched Glee and its on tonight so I might check it out. Saw a video click of one of their songs at the gym its was quite good! My brother just ordered a cd for himself and offered for it to be his christmas present which just reduced some of my christmas shopping. My mum has been dropping hints and my dad will often be watching a music program and just say casually that he'd like to own that artists DVD. So Christmas Shopping will be a breeze this year since everyone knows what they want. That just leaves me needing to decide what I want! :)

Can't wait

In about 16 days I'm going away for the weekend. I'm so excited. I want to be a tourist for at least one day while I'm there. I have a list of places to visit. It should be good. I'm going to try and have lunch with my grandmother. It will be great to just get away even if its just for the weekend. I need a change of scenery. Well better get back to work. Only 16 days to go!
